1. Which panels does the Smart 2.0 thermostat work with? Smart 2.0 works with all Sundirect panels that have a built-in RF receiver: IC, PE, GD, LUX and ART series.
2. Do you need an electrician? No. Smart 2.0 is a wireless thermostat that runs on AA batteries and connects to panels via an RF signal.
3. Does Smart 2.0 connect to the panel via WiFi? No. Connection to the panels is via an RF radio signal (remote control). The thermostat is designed for local control, without the Internet.
4. Where should the thermostat be placed for correct temperature measurement? The temperature sensor is in the thermostat. Place it: - 1.2–1.5 m high, - in a place where a real room temperature must be maintained, - away from windows, doors and direct heat sources.
5. What is the operating distance of Smart 2.0? The operating distance is up to 35 m in an open area. If there are thick walls, concrete or metal structures, the signal may decrease.
6. Does Smart 2.0 accurately maintain/sens temperature? Yes - the thermostat maintains the set temperature with an accuracy of 0.5–1°C.
7. How long do the batteries last? With good quality (brand) AA batteries - approximately 12-18 months.
