The SC-2400 Plus can also be used in open outdoor areas, but optimal results are achieved in areas with at least 1-2 protective edges (e.g. wall, glazed edges, canopy, railing).
IR-C radiation is not dispersed by wind as quickly as hot air, but in very strong winds the warming effect is reduced.
The best solution: terraces, balconies, building facades, semi-open areas where radiation can be directed to a specific seating or work area.2. How large an area can the SC-2400 Plus heat?
On average, one SC-2400 Plus provides comfortable heat for an area of 8–15 m², depending on the installation height and wind conditions. Optimal installation: at a height of 2.1–2.7 m, directed towards the seating or work area.3. Does the heater produce visible light like halogen patio heaters?
No. The SC-2400 Plus uses IR-C radiation without visible light. This means no orange glow, no glare and no annoying “lamp effect”. This model is ideal for restaurants, spas and premium terraces.4. Is the SC-2400 Plus safe to use in rain and moisture?

The heater has a power of 2400 W, which corresponds to a consumption of 2.4 kWh per hour when operating continuously. However, due to IR-C technology, the actual consumption is usually lower, because:

- surfaces accumulate heat, reducing operating cycles.
