The higher the air temperature, the more efficient the heat pump is. Because it obtains approximately 75% of the energy it needs from the surrounding air and only the rest from the electrical grid.

  • What is a hot water heat pump?
    A hot water heat pump is used to centrally supply hot water to several taps, such as showers, sinks or bathrooms in a house, regardless of the heating system installed. In doing so, it uses the heat energy in the room air to prepare hot water and ensure its operation in a cost-effective, environmentally friendly and energy-saving way. However, since the room temperature is not high enough to heat the water sufficiently, the temperature of the water in the heat pump also rises. This happens when the heat in the air is transferred to the coolant and compressed using a compressor. The temperature of the coolant rises, so this heat is transferred to the water through heat exchange. Hot water comes out!
    How does it work?
    A heat pump heats water using the surrounding air. This air is transported through a heat exchanger. The heat pump evaporates the water into steam. The steam is compressed in a compressor, which causes the temperature to rise. The pump circulates the hot air through a tube. This tube is wrapped around a kettle containing hot water. This heats the water in the tank. The steam cools down again until it becomes liquid again. This liquid is then pumped back into the evaporator, where the process repeats. Heating hot tap water with a hot water heat pump is very efficient, especially compared to an electric boiler, using much less electricity to provide the same amount of hot water per day.

Sundirect infrared heaters

The global energy trend shows a rapid transition from fossil fuels to renewable and clean energy. By combining Sundirect infrared heaters with solar or wind energy, it is possible to create a sustainable and environmentally friendly heating system. Sundirect infrared heaters use infrared radiation, which directly heats objects and surfaces in a room, not the air.

This means that:

-the thermal mass of the room is heated, such as walls, furniture and human bodies;

-heating is more efficient and uniform;

-lower electrical power is used, which reduces energy consumption;

-it is possible to achieve greater energy efficiency compared to

traditional heating systems.

Thanks to these advantages, infrared heating is becoming the future standard in sustainable construction and home heating.

Choose Sundirect – a modern, safe and energy-efficient solution for your home or office.
